Another Kind of OR
Oregon. Always wanted to go, never could make it happen, until this 4th of July. I dragged along Grand Teton National Park‘s historian, Katherine Longfield on a non-stop journey from Portland, to Cannon Beach, to Hood River and back, to see what the Northwest has on my hometown of Jackson Hole.
It started with a car.
Not just any car as you can see. A gold mustang. (its crazy what a few winks to the 18 year old rental car attendant can get you besides a Ford Focus).
After Portland, we headed West to the coast, and a little town called Cannon Beach, which sits at the edge of Ecola State Park, one of the most rugged and stunning parks I have ever seen.
I’m gonna start the Backbone Oregon office inside this tree.
And it ended in the Hood. This was the view from my hotel window. Not too shabby.
